Add a piece of functional art to your living room. Our designs combine mid-century modern concepts with a unique hand-carved wave pattern that accentuates the natural grain pattern of the wood. These styles brought together create a beautiful and natural statement piece for your home.
The MCM Wave entertainment center features an elegant balance of modern design and natural beauty. The core MCM style cabinet with vertical slat doors offer a classic look that is then accentuated by the unique wave pattern carved into the doors.
The base model of the MCM Wave entertainment center is comprised of a maple cabinet with solid fir drop down doors. Supporting the entertainment center are angled round nose MCM style legs. Drop down doors are assisted with magnet catches and gas shocks to create a smooth open feature.

The first design started as a napkin sketch after we couldn’t find any reasonably priced entertainment centers that would fit larger TVs and still look good. Not only did most of the entertainment centers out there lack style, but they were made out of low quality materials that made the high price tag ridiculous. This led to the first design where we made exactly what we wanted. Turns out, other people liked it too and asked us to build another.
Have a specific style in mind? We are more than happy to build your entertainment center with the wood or stain of your choice.
Maple: One of the most popular woods for it’s subtle grain patterns and light color. Maple is a great option that pairs well with other woods allowing for some cool contrast between the species and finishes.
Walnut: This is a beautiful wood with rich tones and grain patterns. Walnut is great for natural, mid, and darker finishes.
Note: Walnut variations are slightly more expensive to accommodate the increased material cost.
Oak: Another commonly requested wood for it’s unique tone and aggressive grain pattern. We recommend oak for mid, dark, and natural finishes. Oak can be a bit tricky when it comes to matching the doors to the cabinet since the wave pattern doesn’t play super well with the open cell structure.
Pine: This is a softer and lighter wood that offers beautiful grain patterns. Pine is a lower cost material that is great for light, mid, and natural finishes. Pine is also great for very dark finishes if that is what you’re going for.
